"God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7)

The lifestyle of Christian stewardship involves intentional, planned, and proportionate giving of our time, talent, and treasure. There are many options when it comes to thoughtful giving.  You may plan for your future while having a positive impact on the mission of the Catholic Church in Central Colorado. Below are some resources you may find helpful in your planning.

The Diocese of Colorado Springs is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. EIN: 84-0936629

All gifts (cash and check) intended for year-end giving must be received by the Diocese of Colorado Springs or postmarked by December 31. Gifts received after this date will receive the following year tax credit.

Give Online

Make an intention or one-time gift using a credit card or automatic bank account withdrawal.

There are many benefits to gifting stock, mutual funds or other securities to your parish or the Returning God’s Gifts Appeal. Making a charitable donation of stock allows you to avoid capital gains and still receive a tax deduction based on the value of your gift*.

Endowment Gifts

A gift today or in the future to an endowment fund provides a brighter picture for generations to come. Through the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, you can add to an existing fund or create a new named endowment fund. Your gift will both be immediate and long-term because donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs in the parishes, schools, and other ministries you designate. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support. Thus with and endowment, your gift will keep giving perpetually.
